Marcel Netemegesic Donio Nehbuhnehawbuhnwehshkung

Marcel Netemegesic Donio Nehbuhnehawbuhnwehshkung grew up on the shores of Lake Nipigon. As a child, he was raised by his extended family, who immersed him into the Ojibway language and culture. Marcel pursued post-secondary education in Thunder Bay, attending both Confederation College and Lakehead University. In 2005, after a career spent working at various levels of government, Marcel was appointed as a Justice of the Peace. He remained in that role for close to two decades, recently retiring in 2022. In his retirement, Marcel maintains an active role in the community with his First Nation and local Tribal Council. Marcel and his wife Aandeg are the proud parents of five boys, and the proud grandparents of six grandchildren
