Working Group B
The principal role of the Police Service Board is to provide oversight of the Police Service. In support of that this working group is responding to those recommendations that provide direction to the Chief and Service. Working Group C
The Thunder Bay Police Service, and its oversight Board, are very much concerned with the service provided to the communities of Thunder Bay and Oliver Paipoonge. Working Group C is charged with proposing responses to recommendations that are focussed on the relationship of the Board and the Service with the communities it services as well as local agencies, organizations and its leadership. The efforts of the working group will also address how the Board consults with First Nations, and other Indigenous communities and leaders, both in the City of Thunder Bay and across the region.
